We use this blog to keep everyone up-to-date on what’s happening at Blogthings – a site full of personality quizzes. Check back often (or even better, subscribe to our email list on the top right of the page) to see what we’ve been doing lately.

    I think blog things is a place to renew and express yourself, with a variety of quizzes that would take you a day just to do the ones you like! It is a great experience at home, at work, or jus hanging out somewhere. So it’s a great site :)

    Maybe I’m overly concerned about this, but one thing that has bothered me is that when I take a quiz, then share it to FB, the thumbnail pic that goes with it is always a female. Maybe women do make up the majority of fans, but not ALL fans. Just sayin’..

      Thanks for the feedback! I do try to present a diversity of images (ethnicity, body type, gender, etc), but (a) the majority of good stock art I can get on my budget is female focused and (b) quizzes that feature images of men are rarely posted and end up being quite unpopular on the site overall :-)

      I am currently working on other things for Blogthings, including streamlining the new quiz process for myself. Hopefully soonish for new quizzes – look for them sometime in 2013!

    I’m responding here because I didn’t see a form or link to respond to the personality quiz, “You Are an Inspiring and Compassionate Shoe”. I couldn’t believe how spot on my result was! And all from choosing a shoe… LOL :P

    I’d like to know which direction this site is going. There doesn’t seem to be a link to the Blog from the main site anymore, so I’m wondering if the Blog will be discontinued.
    And you’re showing popular quizzes instead of new ones. I had to do a bit of poking around to find this.

      For now, we’re working on making the quizzes we already have up easier to take and easier to share. While we’re doing that, we won’t have any new quizzes added. I hope you like the changes we make! :)

    I thought an idea for a quiz could be “What perfume are you?” or “What celebrity perfume are you?” or “What kind of perfume are you?” like romantic, fruity, citrus, woody, floral, oceanic, spicy, or fresh! :)

    Really glad to see someone wants quizzes to do with Jane Austen and that kinda stuff on blogthings(which rocks) but there was only one quiz and even that was a bit rubbish! :p

    Hi there, I would be really happy if blogthings,com could have quizzes about what character one would be from Harry Potter and/or Lord of the Rings. I love blogthings.com and come here nearly every day to take one or more quizzes and the new quizzes are always fun. Some of them are really good and insightful, others are just for fun. I have seen character quizzes based on Harry Potter and LOTR characters elsewhere on the net, but, I think blogthings is a lot better than most of the other sites that offer these character quizzes, so it would be fantastic if you could do any such quizzes for the blogthings users :) ) Thank you so much for your lovely work!     That’s great! Perhaps in time I will take all 1,100(+) blogthings quizzes. I like your creativity and insight, and my favorite quizzes are the Psychology and Food ones. Maybe you could do an Enneagrams test!

      I am just one person who loves to write personality quizzes. I’ve written all the quizzes on Blogthings. It’s a project I started in 2004 – so I guess you can say that I’m quite dedicated!

      I get inspired by everything around me, and the continuing research being done by personality psychologists. I find the differences between individuals to be fascinating.
