New Quiz: What California Pizza Are You?

What Californian style pizza best suits you?

Do you like California style pizza? I have to admit that I’m a huge fan of this type of pizza, but I recently just learned it was called California style. California style pizza came around in the 1980s, and it’s just your regular thin crust pizza topped with all sorts of unique toppings. If you have some cash, you may have tried it at Spago. Or if you’re like the rest of us, maybe at California Pizza Kitchen, Whole Foods, or any trendy bistro type restaurant. I love this type of pizza because it’s a little lighter, often healthier, and very creative!

I swore I was not going to do another pizza quiz because I’ve written so many of them. What’s Your Pizza Personality? What Pizza Topping Are You?What Does Your Pizza Say About You?, and The Pizza Test! (Oh, and one more below!) I thought I had said everything I had to say about the matter, but I guess not. Thanks, California Pizza Kitchen for inspiring one more. And who am I kidding? It won’t be the last.

If you like all things pizza like I do, then you’ll like this slightly wacky quiz: What California Pizza Are You? I definitely wrote it for the foodies in the group, but I don’t think you have to be a foodie to enjoy it. Let me know what you think of your result below.

That’s definitely not boring! I like cheese pizza, especially if the crust, cheese, and sauce are all good. I think white pizza is the closest outcome to that for this quiz =)

I am The Works. And that sounds ok but I cannot handle chaos. I feel like I’m gonna have an Autistic fit! Lol And in the California city question I would have chosen Santa Cruz or Monterey if they were available but I chose San Fran instead. I can’t think of an unusual topping but I will say that I enjoy feta on a pizza. And I would think that New York or Naples Italy would be the perfect pizza places for me. Besides California that is. And apparently I’m a Detroit pizza. Which I’m not at all familiar with. And one last little note, I’m not very into cooking and I’m not very skilled at it but I do love to eat all different kinds of food, I collect food knowledge as well as recipes and I’m a food tv fan. So, although, I’m not really a cook who sometimes eats instant Ramen I definitely have a foodie side.

Oh you can definitely be a foodie without cooking! I think a lot of us are like that 😉 (I only bake, and not too well.) Boxed / frozen food are my friend.

I have yet to try Detroit pizza, but it is the latest trend here in Austin. Seems pretty interesting, but of course, I don’t think any pizza is bad!
