What sort of shopping do you like to do?

Happy Friday, everyone! Are you excited for the weekend? I don’t know about you, but I like to catch up on my shopping a bit on the weekends – both online and offline. And I thought that shopping would be a fun subject for this week Friday Five. And I’m giving away a $10 gift code from one of my favorite stores, Target 🙂

The Target gift code is courtesy of Swagbucks.  If you want more free git cards, consider joining SwagbucksSwagbucks is an entertaining and easy place to earn free gift cards that I am obsessed with. If you love free gift cards, I highly recommend checking them out if you live in Australia, Canada, Ireland, UK, or the US. I earn gift cards to give away by watching music videos while I write quizzes :-)

All you have to do to enter is comment below and answer the Friday Five. I will run a random number generator on Monday morning and pick the winners that way. I will comment on the thread to the people who won, so you can check back to see who won that way. If you miss it, I will announce the winner in the comments and next week in the P.S.

So, here are the Friday Five questions for this week. Simply answer below in a comment to enter :-)

I shop through Amazon quite a bit. I often buy health foods and related items. I like online shopping. The best thing I bought recently…was probably, a couple of years ago I bought a cuisinart keurig. My quiz result was Traditional.

    Balanced.

Unlike most people, you don’t really obsess over shopping. It’s a chore, just like any other.
You crave a simple, stress free experience when you go shopping. Convenience is very important to you.

You tend to know what you want, and you’re willing to pay to get it quickly. You probably enjoy shopping online.
You enjoy taking time to pick out what you want, but once you’re ready to buy, you don’t want to drag out the process.

    1. What are your favorite stores to shop at?
Oh, bookstores. No question! Although music stores (rare though they have become) are good, too. And Apple stores are fun, if too tempting!

    2. What do you like to shop for?
Books, music. I don’t really like to shop generally speaking.

    3. Where do you prefer to shop? Online? At an indoor mall? An outdoor mall? Downtown?
Online, except for shoes. (Although I’ve bought shoes that way, too, if that’s the cheapest option.)

    4. What’s the best thing you’ve bought in the past year or two?
My iPod Touch! Although my BluRay player comes in high on the “best” scale, too. 🙂

    5. Take What’s Your Shopping Stereotype? – What do you get? Is it accurate?
I got “Your Shopping Stereotype is Economical”–yeah, that’s about right! I don’t enjoy the process of shopping, but I do like getting the most for my money–which is why I buy good quality things in non-trendy styles.

traditional, I like stuff that is classic and well made that I can mix and match and wear for years. I had a shirt from Nordstrom once I wore for seven years. threw it out only because I was so tired of it.
