New Quiz: What’s Your Weather Personality?

What weather do you prefer?

Have you ever noticed that we all have different weather preferences? I would have thought that we could have sorted them out by now, considering the wide range of climates to choose from ๐Ÿ˜‰ But of course, we all can’t live in our ideal weather zone, and as a result, someone’s perfect weather day can be another person’s weather nightmare.

I know that I have different preferences than those who live around me. Anytime I like the weather, most other people do not. I’m an out of place cooler weather person in a warm weather place. So when the weather is chilly and gray, I’ll often tell people how happy I am about the weather. And they usually think I’m crazy. (Of course, occasionally I meet someone who shares my weather preferences, and we can have an actual meaningful conversation about the weather!)

Over the years, my weather personality has changed quite a bit. I grew up in a pretty cold place, and that led me to think that I disliked cold weather. Well, after being around from cold weather a while, I’m not sure that’s the case. I actually miss it and also dislike very warm weather. I’m not sure if I should live somewhere temperate and mild, or somewhere with four not too extreme seasons.

What about you? Do you have a weather preference? Take my latest quiz to confirm it:ย What’s Your Weather Personality?

Chilly is so true! I love the snow, especially on Christmas. Snow is so beautiful. I hate when it’s super hot that you feel like you’re going to melt! Sometimes, I think weather affects my mood. I like the weather where I live. Not too hot, not too cold!

    Your Weather Personality is Balmy

Above all else, you like weather that is not cold. You always rather be ‘too hot’ – if there even is such a thing.
You don’t mind a little humidity with your heat. It’s good for the skin. You really dig the feel of the warmest summer day.

You have a laid back personality, and you’re never in a rush to get much done. You’re content to hang out in your swimsuit all day.
You like the concept of ‘island time’ – even if you don’t live on an island. You think adhering to schedules is oppressive.

You don’t like a lot of hardship in your life. Warm weather means no shoveling snow or putting on gloves and a scarf.
When the weather is warm every day, you feel like you’re on a permanent vacation. And that’s a pretty fab way to live!

I love summer and just love chilling. I hate winter or rainy days. It could affect my mood you never know!! In Canada, it is super cold, still and I would love moving to Hawaii or South Carolina, but Canadians are so friendly!!

I’m glad it was right for you! I agree that Canadians are very friendly… I’ve heard Hawaii is pretty friendly too though, just sayin’ ๐Ÿ˜‰

I got balmy–and that’s sort of right. The thing is, I live in New York, and hot means humid, so I prefer it not too hot–I think about 75 to 80 is great. But if you take the humidity out of the picture, then I’m fine with 85 to 90–so long as I don’t have to be out doing anything in the sun. I guess really I’m hot and dry–what personality is that? ๐Ÿ™‚

Maybe you are Chilly? I accidentally switched the chilly and balmy scoring when I was programming the quiz. It’s fixed now though ๐Ÿ™‚
