Quiz: What Color Glasses Do You See the World Through?

Do you wear rose colored glasses?

Have you ever noticed how much outlook impacts our lives? Two people can be at the exact same event, have the same experience, and come away with very different impressions of how things went. I find this fascinating, and I think it goes much past a optimist vs pessimist mentality – although that is a huge part of it.

Over the years, I’ve noticed how much more I’ve enjoy life by tweaking my outlook a bit. I try to be in the moment, and not think too much about the past or future. I also try to practice gratitude and keep my expectations low. It’s all about enjoying the moment as much as I can. I am not perfect with it by any means (sooooo not perfect!), but it’s something I’m working on.

The funny thing with having the right outlook is that you can “fake it until you make it.” If you remember that things go better when you’re positive, you can sometimes trick yourself into thinking you’re in a good mood even when you’re having the crummiest day. Have you ever tried that? Sometimes that’s all it takes to snap me out of whatever funk I happen to be in.

What about you? Do you feel like your outlook tinges your life with a certain vibe? Take my quiz, What Color Glasses Do You See the World Through? to find out. Hopefully this quiz will give you a little insight about how the world comes through to you.

What do you think? Comment below, and let me know what you get on What Color Glasses Do You See the World Through? I’m also interested to know what sort of lens you think it’s best to see the world through. Should you be skeptical? Trusting? Expecting the best? Expecting the worst?

After seeing so many Blue results I thought I might have to refactor the quiz, but it seems to like it’s just a coincidence / commonality 😉

You See the World Through Blue Colored Glasses

You live your life with tranquility. You have faith that things will work themselves out with time.
You judge all your interactions through the lens of hope. You try to get all the facts before forming your opinion.

You face challenges with wisdom. You know that all bad things pass, and you have the confidence to see problems through.
You see love as the utmost expression of trust. Your relationships tend to be peaceful and stable.

At your worst, you can be cool, melancholy, and detached. You sometimes have to step back from emotionally charged situations.
You are at your happiest when you are able to reflect and relax.

I get angry when a problem comes up but it blows over. And I’m a cynical realist but I have hope things will get better.

Answer to your question: I believe in a skeptic outlook, but at the same time being able to appreciate the everyday miracles – a beautiful bird, a spellbinding sunset, a delicious cup of tea a.s.o.
