What Shape Pasta Are You?

A big steaming bowl of pasta is usually the cure for my winter blues. Warm, filling, and nurturing. Pasta is the ultimate comfort food any time of year for me, but it’s especially welcome on a cold, winter day. Anyone else feeling me on this one? I like a little extra spice to warm me up (a shake of red pepper flakes is always welcome), but really, any bowl of pasta will do. My ideal pasta is cooked just right (al dente in liberally salted water) with a nice zesty marinara sauce on top of it. Add just a touch of cheese, and I’m all set. Maybe I’ll toss in some broccoli or kale if I’m feeling virtuous 🙂

I figured that I’d warm my soul up a little with a fun quiz devoted to pasta shapes. There’s just so many of ’em that they have to say something about your personality! And it’s weird how we all have our preferences, even though pasta all tastes more or less the same. For example, I really love ziti and angel hair pasta. I haven’t gotten into linguine and fettuccine much as I should… although I won’t turn it down! I wonder what that says about me.

Do you feel like your favorite pasta says something about your personality? Take my latest quiz to see if what you get: What Shape Pasta Are You? I had so much fun writing this quiz, and I hope you have just as much fun taking it. Comment below and let me know what your favorite pasta shape is. Did the quiz get you right or wrong? Also, what’s your favorite way to eat pasta? Red sauce? Cream sauce? Oil, salt, pepper, and herbs? Butter and cheese? Inspire me a little on this cold and gray day 🙂

What do you think?

I was hoping for Rigatoni or Ziti. I ended up, according to the quiz, the shape of Macaroni. I guess it’s pretty accurate and better than Gnocchettini or Tubettini.

    You Are Fusilli

“You are charismatic and charming without even trying to be. People appreciate your unique take on life.”

I don’t know about this. My take on life is unique, but I don’t know if it’s appreciated.

“You like to be the center of attention, but you don’t show off. You don’t try to please anyone.”

    Maybe just a little. 😉

“The master of mix and match, you’re always coming up with unique combinations.
You are resourceful and capable. You have an ingenious way of getting things done.”

I’m always coming up with new ideas, and incorporating others’ ideas.
