    You Learn by Teaching Yourself

“There’s very little you can’t teach yourself. You are a huge self-learner.
You don’t have one learning style that works for you. You try everything that works.

You experiment with learning and figure out what works best for you in each context.
Your most important attribute is perseverance. Even when it feels like something is impossible to understand, you don’t give up. ”

Yay! The BT quiz results are back on track; this fits me perfectly. I always found that I learned better by reading textbooks or solving problems than by attending lectures. I especially like the “You try everything that works.” part. If I’m stuck in a rut, I try to approach the issue from a different perspective, and try something new.

It’s funny how we seem to be getting the same results lately, Kari! 🙂

Definitely! I definitely have multiple ways of learning. In college the best way for me to learn was to hear the teacher talk about it, write it down and read about it—so all of them, lol. And just like it says there, I experiment with what is going to work best for whatever I’m trying to learn.

The only thing I could not teach myself and definitely gave up on (after taking it with 4 or 5 different teachers, lol) was Chemistry. I could never understand it after the first 3 general chapters, after that it just stopped making sense, lol.

    Good quiz 🙂
