What Egyptian Goddess Are You?

Mythology is a very rich area to draw personality type information from. Many ancient gods and goddesses had traits that we all still recognize and share. I was reading up on Egyptian goddesses the other day, and they were strong characters. I decided they would make the perfect topic for a quiz: What Egyptian Goddess Are You?

Take this quiz and let me know what result you get. Does it fit you? And by the way, this quiz is totally gender neutral and appropriate for guys to take as well. Hope everyone enjoys it πŸ™‚

Am i the only one who got Sekhmet?

    You are Sekhmet
You are a warrior. You don’t mind fighting for what you believe in, and you actually enjoy arguing.
You enjoy debating issues. You often can see both sides, and you like to play devil’s advocate.

You are rarely alone, and you do best in the company of others. People excite you.
You are energized and fired up. You are always ready to take on the world.

Oh, good but tough quiz, I related to a lot of the answers. I’ve actually never heard of the goddess that I got:

    “You are Ma’at:

You believe in doing what’s right. You have the inner strength to stick to your guns.
You have a quiet spirituality and balance to you. You don’t preach; you lead by example.

You are peaceful and serene. You try to make life go as smoothly as possible.
You have a reassuring nature. Your friends find you to be both soothing and comforting.”

The second choice answers put me as Isis:
“You are a truly loving person. You are affectionate and warm-hearted.
You are very intuitive. You can always sense when someone close to you is hurting.

You are giving and unselfish. You nurture everyone you’re close to.
Your calming presence helps everything go more smoothly. You can diffuse a troublesome situation.”

I just googled Ma’at and found out that she is “truth, order, balance and justice personified.” Cool, I’d never heard of her before. Isis was the “patron saint of women and children ans well as being the goddess of nature and magic.” All very cool.

    I got Hathor…
I’m afraid I’m not that familiar with Egyptian Mythology, though (when it comes to mythology, my favourite was always Greek Mythology)… But I do know that that Hathor is the Egyptian Sky-goddess of love, beauty, motherhood, foreign lands, and music.
Guess I’d have to look her up on Google to see if I really can relate to her or not… πŸ™‚
